Server-side Cluster Architecture
The management cluster architecture ensures: |
- Scalability: Additional management and content servers can be easily added at any time to the service infrastructure. Simple server configuration ensures rapid deployment, enabling the system to scale efficiently, with no effect on the existing network.
- Load Balancing: The management servers control the routing of content requests to available content servers or CDNs, distributing the load across the network.
- Redundancy: Servers are fully redundant. Both have fail-over capabilities that ensure non-stop content delivery.
- Security: Management servers serve as a security buffer between content network and the EXEtender™ database system. Furthermore, high-speed hardware encryption as well as standard SSL tools can be used on all communication channels.
