Comcast Interactive Capital Invests in Exent Technologies

Reston, VA - July 17, 2000 - Exent Technologies, a leading developer of Applications-on-Demand (AoD) software for telecom and broadband service providers, and Comcast Interactive Capital today announced an investment by Comcast Interactive Capital (CIC) in Exent Technologies. With this investment Comcast Interactive Capital is joining other leading venture capital firms and strategic investors such as New Enterprise Associates, General Atlantic Partners, America Online, Inc., Temasek Holdings of Singapore, and Singapore Telecommunications who have recently participated in Exent's second round of financing.

Exent's EXEtender™ platform enables on-demand use of popular CD-ROM software, games, education, and business applications over broadband networks. EXEtender allows independent software vendors and enterprises, as well as ISPs and ASPs, to deliver the software titles high-speed subscribers want, without installing or downloading software on the user's computer.
